Black Block Party – LUSH Collaboration
In 2023, the Black Block Party, founded by Doyin Agbaje, transformed the Vancouver Art Gallery’s North Plaza into a vibrant celebration of Black culture and creativity.
As part of the event, KindCo partnered with Lush to create a sanctuary space where guests could relax and engage their senses. The space featured lounge seating, greenery, complimentary iced tea, and interactive elements like a scent-matching game, a coloring station, and a curated library of Black authors.
The Black Block Party continues to foster community, creativity, and connection, celebrating Black culture in Vancouver.
