ICON Summer Party

The Event: ICON Creative Studio, Canada's largest independently owned CG animation studio, had grown in size over the pandemic. With many employees working remotely and in different offices, ICON needed to host an event to bring people together.

The Solution: KindCo developed the event strategy, including securing a central location that would allow guests to safely commute to and from the event. We selected an outdoor space conducive to networking, allowing the guests to move around freely. KindCo partnered with the iconic Science World to create a memorable evening. We brought teams together with group photos in front of a branded wall and allowed teams to get to know each other in person in a relaxed social environment. We supported local by partnering with Rosie's BBQ & Catering and offered a fresh summer menu in line with the evening's theme. The liquor menu was comprised of local breweries and wineries, further supporting the BC community.

The Results: Over 700 of ICON's employees gathered to enjoy an evening of getting to know each other. The feedback was immensely positive and continued into the following week. The President was pleased with the employee response and has partnered with KindCo on their next employee event.
